About Cashmere

• Retains heat while the fiber structure allows the skin to breathe.
• Soft and pleasant to the touch.
• Does not absorb odors and is described as stain-resistant and self-cleaning.
• Has hygroscopic properties: it absorbs moisture from the environment and wicks it away. It is not waterproof.

Care Instructions

• Hand washing is recommended. Use 4–5 liters of water at 20°C to 25°C for one sweater and a gentle wool or cashmere detergent. Soak for five minutes, gently squeeze without wringing or rubbing, then rinse carefully with clean, lukewarm water.
• Lay flat in its natural shape on a thick drying rack or towel to dry. A soft, moisture-absorbing towel is preferred.
• Do not iron. Steam gently without touching the surface of the fibers to remove creases.
• If dry cleaning, use a reputable cleaner with experience washing cashmere.
• If worn all day, wash after about 3–5 wears. Between washes, refresh by exposing the sweater to cool, humid air.

Pilling is a natural process with wool and cashmere, often occurring in areas subject to friction. Remove pills with a special wool comb or fabric shaver.
